Lunchtime Research Seminar @ Bath Spa University •22-10-21• 13:00 BST

Three of the four researchers on this one-year EPSRC funded research project share their initial findings on designing and piloting an open educational resource (OER) aimed at fostering critical data literacy for HE educators. This transnational collaboration involved four strategic partner institutions in Kenya, Barcelona, Uruguay and England.

The seminar will start with a brief presentation of pen educational resources and Open Pedagogy. The speakers will outline the importance of the UNESCO OER recommendation which supports the creation, use and adaptation of inclusive and quality OER and facilitates international cooperation. They will address what this potentially means for post-pandemic education. They will introduce the OER DataPraxis that they developed: its contents, tools and resources. The researchers will reflect on what they have learned from the pilot studies. To finish, they’ll explain how they want to move forward with new lines of inquiry emerging from their ongoing work.

The event is online, the 22-10-21 @ 13:00 UK time. You can book your place at the event site.
